Having performed failover tests, engineers identified that the issue was isolated to a single core router.
The affected router has been rebooted and service failed back. Further tests indicate that the reboot has resolved the issue, however engineers will be continuing to monitor throughout tomorrow.
Engineers will be performing emergency maintenance tonight on a Broadband4 core routing device. This is to mitigate against an observed issue causing packet loss and reduced throughput on customer connections.
These works will involve failover and potentially the reboot of affected devices, so service should be considered at risk until the works are completed.
We would like to apologise for the short notice, however these works are essential to ensure service stability.
